An International Sporting Event with a Special Flair
The 15th edition of the Schaffhausen Open welcomed over 400 fighters and more than 100 Poomsae athletes from Switzerland, Germany, Austria, and France. Throughout the day, the 43 participating clubs delivered thrilling duels and impressive form demonstrations. A musical highlight was provided by a Guggenmusik group with their lunchtime performance.
For the first time in Switzerland, the tournament also included Freestyle Poomsae, a Taekwondo form routine featuring music and acrobatics. Judged according to strict regulations, the competition must include specific techniques and can be performed solo, in pairs, or as a team.
