2. Wattwil Open finded 2021 statt
Aufgrund täglich geänderter Corona-Lage fand ein enger Austausch zwischen dem OK Wattwil Open und Swiss Taekwondo statt. Die überall verschärften Quarantäneregeln und Reiseempfehlungen lässt trotz eines ausgearbeitetem Schutzkonzeptes und weiteren Vorkehrungen eine Durchführung im geplanten Format nicht zu. Das OK hat sich in Absprache mit Swiss Taekwondo daher entschieden, das Turnier für 2020 abzusagen und strebt die Durchführung des 2. Wattwil Opens im 2021 an. Wir freuen uns, dann die Athletinnen und Athleten von den interessierten Clubs aus der weiteren Umgebung, die von Österreich, Italien über Frankreich, Belgien-Holland, bis in den Norden von Deutschland reicht, in Wattwil zu begrüssen.
2ème Wattwil Open aura lieu en 2021
En raison de l’évolution quotidienne de la situation de la pandémie COVID-19, il y a eu un échange étroit entre le CO de Wattwil Open et Swiss Taekwondo. Les règles de quarantaine et les recommandations de voyage, partout renforcées, ne permettent pas une exécution dans le format prévu malgré un concept de protection élaboré et des précautions supplémentaires. Le CO, en accord avec Swiss Taekwondo, a donc décidé d’annuler le tournoi pour 2020 et vise à organiser le 2ème Wattwil Open en 2021. Nous nous réjouissons d’accueillir à Wattwil les athlètes des clubs intéressés de la région qui s’étend de l’Autriche, l’Italie, la France, la Belgique et les Pays-Bas jusqu’au nord de l’Allemagne.
2nd Wattwil Open takes place in 2021
Due to the daily changing corona situation, there was a close exchange between the OC of Wattwil Open and Swiss Taekwondo. The tightened quarantine rules and travel recommendations everywhere do not allow for an implementation in the planned format despite an elaborated protection concept and further precautions. The OC, in consultation with Swiss Taekwondo, has therefore decided to cancel the tournament for 2020 and aims to hold the 2nd Wattwil Open in 2021. We are looking forward to welcoming in Wattwil the athletes from the interested clubs from a wider area, which ranges from Austria, Italy, France, Belgium-Holland, to the north of Germany.
