Where Champions Meet: Aigle Welcomes Europe’s Best in 2025
The picturesque city of Aigle (Canton of Vaud) will become the center of European Taekwondo this autumn, hosting the European Taekwondo Junior Championships 2025 (19–21 November) and the European Taekwondo Senior Olympic Weight Categories 2025 (22–23 November 2025). At the state-of-the-art venue of the Centre Mondial du Cyclisme (Allée Ferdi Kübler 12, 1860 Aigle), spectators will witness explosive Olympic-style Kyorugi matches powered by electronic scoring systems, first-class refereeing and an atmosphere charged with competition and camaraderie.
Organised by Krasniqi Taekwondo, this major double event will bring together around 700 athletes, coaches and officials from across Europe, with more than 40 countries represented. Competitions will take place at the World Cycling Centre, a modern venue perfectly suited for an event of this scale.
Expect fast, technical and fiercely contested Kyorugi matches that showcase the very best of European Taekwondo. Entry is open to all, and the venue is easily accessible by public transport. Local visitors, families and schools are invited to come and experience Taekwondo at its highest level and to discover the Olympic values that define this sport.
