For instructors, club leaders and examiners
What does it truly mean to earn a Dan? This seminar invites participants to explore that question together, not just through technique, but through understanding. Drawing on the Standard Curriculum of Kukkiwon and its ongoing efforts to strengthen the grading system, Grandmaster Shin will guide a journey back to the roots of Taekwondo examination philosophy. This is a rare opportunity to look deeper at where the standards come from, what they are designed to achieve, and how we as instructors, club leaders, and examiners can bring more meaning and integrity to the process. Together, we will open a dialogue that goes beyond checklists and criteria, and pose a question that matters to everyone in this room: What is the true essence of a Dan examination?
