Dan Test - Wattwil, 20 June 2026
On Friday 20 June, Swiss Taekwondo held a dan test in Wattwil. 16 athletes came forward for their test, including members of the Swiss Kyorugi National Team - and all of them passed.
The panel of experts: Abdenbi Amhand, founder of Taekwondo Riviera in Vevey and president of the Kukkiwon Office Switzerland, and Mark Sandmeier, head of the KIM Taekwondo Schule Ebikon/Luzern, member of the Kukkiwon Office Switzerland.
Special recognition goes to Thierry Müller (1st Dan), Davud Güllü, Melin Öztekin, Sofija Zivkovic and Levin Vetsch (all 2nd Dan), and Juliane Völker (3rd Dan) for their outstanding performances on the day.
Congratulations to every athlete who passed. A dan examination is not just a formality - it takes preparation, commitment and the ability to perform when it counts.
The next dan examination is scheduled for 3 December 2026 at Rue des Bosquets 31, 1800 Vevey. Candidates are encouraged to attend the Dan Preparation Seminar on 1 November 2026 ahead of the test. Further details will be published in due course.
