Swiss Taekwondo Heads to the Home of the Olympic Games

The European Cadet & Kids Taekwondo Championships 2025 are just around the corner and Swiss Taekwondo will be proudly represented by eight young athletes.  

This year’s Championships will take place in Athens, Greece, where the Swiss team (Jason Albertin, Kubilay Kaan Üzmez, Melin Öztekin, Medina Zejneli, Hosseyn Hafaz, Rania Bourhalla, Kadhem Hafaz and Lion Simic) will step onto the mats at the Paiania Olympic Indoor Hall to compete against Europe’s best young fighters. 

The tournament runs from 6 to 8 November 2025. For Swiss Taekwondo, returning to Athens is more than just a sports highlight - it’s also a chance to reconnect with the Olympic roots and values that lie at the heart of our sport.
