Swiss Taekwondo Championship 2025 Concludes Successfully in Wallisellen
The Swiss Taekwondo Championship 2025 took place this past weekend in Wallisellen (Canton Zurich), bringing together athletes, coaches, officials and supporters from across the country. Over two days, competitors demonstrated strong performances in both Kyorugi (sparring) and Poomsae (forms), marking another successful edition of Switzerland’s most important national Taekwondo event.
Hosted in the Mehrzweckhalle Wallisellen, the championship provided a professional setting for athletes of all ages and performance categories.
Kyorugi Highlights
The opening day featured the Swiss Kyorugi Championship, where athletes from Benjamin up to Senior categories competed under World Taekwondo rules. Matches were conducted using electronic scoring systems, and referees ensured fair play and a safe competitive environment. Participants delivered dynamic and disciplined performances, reflecting the ongoing development of Taekwondo across Swiss clubs.
Poomsae Competition on Sunday
On Sunday, the focus shifted to Poomsae, with individual, pair, and team categories presented across several age groups. Athletes displayed strong technique, precision, and rhythm, showcasing the technical depth and artistic dimension of Swiss Taekwondo.
